    Lotus Notes and Domino R5
    Worked directly with Iris Associates to add mail tracking and reporting features to core Notes. Became first group outside of Iris to be granted access to the Notes source and be added to the build. Responsible for the Mail Reports system, which allows administrators to request and schedule mail usage reports from a Notes client or a web browser.

    Lotus MailTracker 1.0
    Web-based electronic mail tracking and reporting system using Java servlets and our own homebrew dynamic HTML. Responsible for development of mail reporting interface with flexible tables and drill-down bar charts. Also managed the build and made the install utility.

    IBM Scalable Mail Server
    Adaptation of Prodigy's mail server technology for use by large ISPs, such as IBM Global Network. My team adapted MailTracker and added Web-based service monitoring and mail probing features. Responsible for mail probe interface and overall integration.

    ItemPool Class Library
    Highly abstracted and interconnected class library for using dynamically defined items and
    multithreaded agents. Uses TCP/IP for agent communication and ODBC for database access.

    Rosetta
    EDI engine for interfacing Clinitec's NextGen medical patient record system with external billing systems. Makes use of ItemPool to flexibly support multiple data protocols such as HL7.

    Vienna Estimator
    Responsible for design and development of this software package for the creation of mechanical construction estimates.

    Gravity Class Library
    General purpose API for using dynamically-defined persistent items and forms. eEssentially an extension to Turbo Vision that implements the non-agent features of the Gravity architecture.

    Colony® for OS/2
    Distributed agent-based workflow automation application, which uses the Gravity architecture. Essentially a more intelligent but less established precursor to Lotus Notes and the Web.

    Simple job management system for plumbing construction.

    Alpine NJ — June 1988 to July 1989
    Colony® prototype
    Functional demonstration system for Hobart Food Services, which allows maintenance technicians to track repair tasks and materials during site visits and then transmit data for billing and inventory.

    The Gravity Architecture
    Detailed design for implementing autonomous cognitive agents that communicate via their own messaging protocol and process distributed knowledge systems according to contextual rules. Anticipates such technologies as CORBA, HTTP, HTML, Java, and Notes.

    Alpine NJ — November 1981 to July 1983

    Vista Bulletin Board System
    Early BBS program for the TRS-80. Allows remote users to log on, exchange email, download and upload files, participate in discussions, chat with system operators, and take opinion polls. Home system operated for two years and received more than a thousand calls.
