Where does the word "Immuexa" come from?
How is it pronounced?

Immuexa is pronounced im-myoo-ex-ah. It was derived from four components, im, mu, ex and a. "Im" connotes impression, perception, information on the way in. "Ex" connotes expression, exposition, information on the way out. "Mu" is the middle, the cause of all change. It's the mysterious black box between the in and the out. For humans, mu is the mind. For machines, it's the central processor, the receiver of input and producer of output. The general suffix "a" connotes "the process of" and "that which does."

Together, these words form "Immuexa" which means that which perceives, changes, and expresses. It also means the process of perceiving, changing, and expressing. Immuexa denotes the doers, what they do, and where they do it. Specifically it refers to the network of people and machines that use Gravity.

please note: The word "Immuexa" was originally my name for what later became the World-Wide-Web. It's now the name of a company, not a network.

The software known here as "ThoughtShop" was originally called "Colony." The rights to the tradename "Colony" were sold in January 2000.
