Great, Joe. Really great. Do you have a problem with me quoting you?

I really, really, like the line: "The struggle is to meld ego with tradition,
practice, and community."

I had a feeling that the last note would get a response from you. I'd like to address much of what you said in following notes, and it might serve us to at least appear to be at odds with each other.

The last note provoked more of a response from the group than the "brevity" ones, and part of that has to do with my horn blowing, and trouncing on "publishing" and "editors", as you recognised.

I've been tempted to take up with your last note, not because I
stoughtily disagree, but because it'd get things lively.

Understand: I do appreciate where you're coming from. Very much so. I perhaps have a problem with your style of writing (at least the two responses have been a bit stuffy for me), as you do with my style, which is fine.

The two work together, somehow, our styles.
Tell me if you mind me quoting you.

Timothy
